‘Work as a united force’
PULAI (Dec 22, 2012): A Johor PKR
political bureau meeting was held in a private venue to discuss campaign
strategy and activities in the run-up to the 13th General Election.
State
party chairman Chua Jui Meng also briefed bureau members on the latest state
and national political developments and Pakatan Rakyat (PR) de facto leader
Anwar Ibrahim’s concerns and appropriate actions to take.
The
three-hour meeting also saw members reporting their activities and initial
programmes to be lined up for the coming general election.
Several
key problems were also discussed and Chua said appropriate remedial actions
would be taken, including revamping the administration of branches and
divisions to strengthen their machinery and activities.
“There
is no more time to waste. The elections can be called anytime.
“All
leaders must cast aside their differences, unite and cooperate with one another
to fight our political rivals outside, not from within.
“Cast
aside all personal differences and work as a united force against Barisan
Nasional (BN). Significant victories for Johor PKR and PR are very possible to
bring about change at both state and federal levels,” he added.
