GELANG PATAH (Feb 1, 2013): Johor PKR
chairman Chua Jui Meng tonight held a briefing for Gelang Patah PKR leaders.
The
hour-long meeting started at 10.30pm with Chua updating political developments
and plans for PKR in the coming 13th General Election (GE13).
He
told the division leaders that “we must not only be 100% ready for the historic
electoral battle, we must work doubly hard for victory”.
“The
signs are clear that the winds of change are blowing very strong for change.
But we must work hard to make it happen.
“We
cannot afford to be complacent, we cannot afford to take the rakyat’s support for granted,” he added.
Chua
and his men also discussed details of the Geleang Patah electorate and
confirmed the leaders who will take charge of the various zones in the P.162 parliamentary
constituency.
Certain
decisions on election campaigning were also finalised after discussions.
