Johor Chinese community leaders warm up to PKR

GELANG PATAH (Feb 1, 2013): The Federation of Chinese Associations and Clans Johor tonight warmed up with state PKR leaders.
Johor PKR chairman Chua Jui Meng was invited to sit at the VIP table with the federation’s leaders at their annual Chinese New Year Dinner.
The 660 diners at the Grand Straits Restaurant comprised of leaders from 80 clans and associations.
Federation chairman Dato’ Lim Kah Chuan wished all diners Gong Xi Fa Cai and hoped the Chinese community would emerge stronger after a good 15-day celebration.
“However, we will have a very important call of duty in the coming 13th General Election.

“As citizens, we have to fulfill our responsibility once in at least five years. And that is to cast our ballots to elect a responsible and competent government.
“Whether we like it or not, GE13 will come and must be held soon. You have a choice to make and you must make it with responsibility,” he added.
