GELANG PATAH (Feb 17, 2013): Encouraged by the earlier three highly successful Gong Xi Fa Cai distribution of mandarin oranges to Johoreans, Johor PKR chairman Chua Jui Meng went on a blistering day-long campaign today.
To his delight, Johoreans continued to extend warm handshakes and greetings.
“The body language of nearly 100% of those who shook my hands is more than positive. They told me not to worry because they know what to do (in the next general election).
“The strong positive response was not only from the Chinese, but also from the Malays and Indians,” he added.
Chua said Johoreans opined that they have had enough of Barisan Nasional (BN)’s corrupt ways.

“They also understand how Pakatan Rakyat (PR) could serve the rakyat better and enjoy greater benefits with savings from a cleaner government,” he said.
Chua and his campaign volunteers started the distribution of mandarin oranges at 9am in Jalan Kampung Baru Batu 8 1/2 , Skudai, in Taman Ungku Tun Aminah.
After about an hour, the entourage headed for 777, Flat Perkasa and Tasek shophouses.
Chua greeted about 5,000 people in the six-hour walkabout.
After a late lunch at 2.30pm, they took a break and resumed the campaign in the Taman Sri Skudai Pasar Malam (Night Market) at 7pm.
Chua greeted some 10,000 market visitors in the three-hour campaign.
